MEET YOUR ATTORNEY

Jenny El-Kadi.
Someone who sees the whole story.

A medical record can describe an injury. It may not explain what it means to miss work, need help at home, or give up something you love. Those details deserve attention, too.

Jenny’s practice includes personal injury, sexual abuse, trafficking, and complex litigation. She brings experience working with clients and co-counsel across jurisdictions, alongside an ongoing role teaching attorneys and legal professionals through NBI and IPE.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Care for the person.
Attention to the case.

01 / LISTEN

Room for your questions.

We want to understand what happened, what has changed, and what worries you most. You don’t need legal vocabulary to explain your experience.

02 / COMMUNICATE

Know the next step.

We explain the decisions in front of you and what information is still needed. Clear communication and regular updates are part of our approach.

03 / PREPARE

Look beyond the obvious.

Careful preparation means examining the available evidence and how an injury affects your work, daily activities, and plans for the future.

YOUR FIRST CONVERSATION

Start small.
We’ll help with the next step.

See the full case lifecycle
  1. Tell us a little.

Choose a case type, share a brief description, and provide a safe way to reach you. If you’re unsure where your situation fits, select “Not sure.”

  2. Talk through the questions.

We review your inquiry and follow up using your contact instructions. The first conversation helps identify what we need to understand about your situation.

  3. Understand your options.

If we can take your case, we explain the proposed representation, fee terms, and next steps before you decide whether to move forward.

Submitting an inquiry does not create an attorney–client relationship. Representation begins only when the firm agrees to take your case.

BEFORE YOU REACH OUT

You might be wondering…

More frequently asked questions
Do I need all my records before contacting you?

No. Start with what you know and the documents you already have. You can explain what is missing during the conversation.

Does the initial case review cost anything?

No. JEK Law offers a free initial case review. If we offer representation, we’ll explain attorney fees and case expenses before you decide whether to hire the firm.

What if I’m not sure I have a case?

That is a reason to ask questions. Choose “Not sure” on the inquiry form and briefly describe your situation. An inquiry is an opportunity to discuss it, not a promise that the firm will accept the case.

Can I choose how you contact me?

Yes. Use the form’s safe-contact instructions to tell us whether email or phone is appropriate and whether it is safe to leave a voicemail. Survivors can leave the description of what happened blank and discuss details privately.
